Sharp Community Involvement
At Sharp IHOPs, we don’t just serve great breakfasts, we also serve the communities we live in.
Sharp locations have been proud supporters and participants of IHOP’s National Pancake Day since its first year in 2006. Each year, IHOPs all over America give away our trademark Buttermilk Pancakes for FREE, all in the name of charity. In ten years of National Pancake Days, IHOPs across the country have raised nearly $20 million for local and major charities. (See some of the smiles Sharp’s National Pancake Day events have created in our gallery.)
Since 2006, Sharp IHOP locations have raised over half a million dollars for charity.
In the past ten years, Sharp Holding has helped raise $138,605.37 for the Children’s Miracle Network and $393,082.97 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This year, Sharp will be participating in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night event. We strongly urge you to donate to both of these charities and learn more about Light the Night, all of which you can do below.

Sharp IHOP locations also proudly offer Fundraiser Nights to local charities and non-profits through our Fundraiser Night and Scrip Program. With this program, we open our “home” to a local non-profit for one night. At the end of the event, 20% of all Fundraiser Night sales are given directly to the hosting charity. The program also allows non-profits and charities to buy discounted IHOP gift cards in bulk, which they can then resell as part of their fundraising efforts.
