At Sharp Holding, we’re all about great people, great service, and most of all, great breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Sharp Holding is dedicated to the IHOP brand and its millions of smiling customers. We operate 14 different IHOP restaurants, including 7 in the state of West Virginia, with a Morgantown location soon to open. We also serve IHOP’s trademark buttermilk pancakes, French toast, waffles, crepes, and other breakfast favorites to diners in Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, and Kentucky, and Ohio.

So what makes Sharp IHOPs so special? It comes down to the fact that every member of our staff loves breakfast just as much as you do. It’s why we’re committed to providing the best service possible. It’s why our guests come hungry and leave happy. And it’s why our restaurants have seen more IHOP smiles than we know how to count!

It’s also why we work with IHOP to make the IHOP brand the best it can be. Did you know that IHOP’s famous funnel cake promotion was invented by a Sharp team member? (Thanks, Jane!)

About Our Owner

Robert “Bob” Sharp is the founder and owner of Sharp Holding, Inc. He has been involved with IHOP for nearly fifty years.

Bob’s humble restaurant beginnings started at Burger Chef, followed by Little Tavern Hamburgers, where he operated several restaurants in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas. In 1970, Bob joined IHOP, and has worked with the company ever since.

After opening several successful IHOP franchises in the 1990s, Bob formed Sharp Holding, Inc. in 1998. For over 25 years, Bob has served the IHOP franchisee community through serving on the Franchise Leadership Council and other committees, such as IHOP’s marketing committee. In 2002, he was personally thanked by Governor Bob Wise for Sharp Holding’s commitment to economic growth and job creation in the state of West Virginia. He currently serves on the IHOP executive Board of Advisors.

Bob has dedicated his life to the IHOP brand, its dedicated network of team members, and its many loyal patrons.
